International Security & Safety Exhibition, Cairo

The International Security & Safety Expo was held in Cairo from October 14 to 18, 1999, at the Investment Authority Hall, International Exhibition Grounds, under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior.
Exhibition Objectives
- Showcase the latest technology and equipment in the security and safety industry
- Provide integrated solutions for port and airport security, operations rooms, radar networks, and information systems
- Display specialized vehicles, including emergency vehicles, armored riot control vehicles, cash transport vehicles, VIP transport, ambulances, and fire trucks
- Present equipment for coast guard, river rescue, debris removal, under-rubble detection, fire fighting, and protection of individuals, facilities, and banks
- Demonstrate devices for alarm systems, explosives, narcotics and weapons detection, as well as forgery and counterfeit detection
Participants
- National companies and factories showcasing the latest security and safety equipment
- Arab delegations: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman
- International participants: Italy, UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Hong Kong, USA, Taiwan, China
- Agreements were made with additional countries to expand participation in future exhibitions
